Medusa Munitions are great people and prices. They are my go-to shop in Southern MD though I havent been in around 6 months now. Contact them first before heading there as they are a home-based FFL.
Unless something happened over the summer, there is not a real roof over any part of the range.
I have not gone back to MG since March when a few guys there were showing off to their friends and rapid firing while not being able to control the weapons and muzzling everyone on the range and...
I have a 20" Faxon Barreled rifle length with an Adams Arms kit that I assembled a few months pre-rona and have no issues or complaints.
Little to do with the piston part but it is the most accurate AR I have and a very soft shooter probably helped by the piston and the weight of it all.
I have and also gave my nephew one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00UON304G/?coliid=IDQYYYZ6NO7IZ
Not practical for much other than static use though.. It was a $89 thing, I guess maybe discontinued though some scalper on amazon is trying to get $580 for a used one...
Target stores...
Have 2 maybe 3 on my property here in Brandywine. Usually see 10 or more every year. There were a bunch early summer but only 2 or 3 left now.
I even took the squirrel diverters/annoyers down off my bird feeders to try to lure more out, but still the same 2 or 3.
I wonder if it has...
Might be (probably) gone by now but maybe worth a shot IF you have access to AAFES/Military exchange.
Fort Belvoir AAFES had 4 or 5 each of 20 and 30rd Ruger OEM magazines there ~1 month ago. (I bought 4 of each. there were 4 or 5 of each still on the shelf when I left.)
Andrews AAFES had...
I am not a professional, more a serious hobbyist.
Sorry I am not really up on Portrait type photography, mostly wildlife and airshows at distance. I dont have much experience using wide angle lens's.
I think (based on just reading/looking at the 2 photography threads) that there are more...
Depends on where I am. When hiking or trail walking I usually carry a Canon EOS 90D and depending on where/season I usually carry 2 of these lenses: Sigma 150-600mm, Sigma 18-300mm (almost always have this with me with this camera), Canon 100-400mm, Canon 70-200mm or a Canon 100mm Macro...
If by never gotten them you mean I might be too close, I was a good 15 to 20ft away, gave it a wide berth. I am not scared of snakes and handle a few yearly mostly rescuing them from my neighbors yards, but I wont mess with a Copperhead...
I heard people coming up behind me with a couple of...
Savage A22 and B22 that I got as a combo.
The rifles werent bad, the B22 was actually quite accurate and comfortable..
The magazines on the other hand... a modified "copy" (not really a copy) of the 10/22 rotary with a plastic "spring" retention clip which eventually broke on all 10...
Nothing fancy or exotic here I have been looking for a plain jane wood stock Marlin XT-22 for a little while now. (preferably mag fed, but tube would be ok at this point.)
Gonna pick up a FN502 once its available and on the roster (I assume it has to be on the MD handgun roster?)
Not really complaining, ok maybe I am..
Will qualify this with: I love FN and own many of their pistols/rifles.
But $500 MSRP for a Umarex badged as an FN is a bit hard to swallow.
I will get one anyway but damn. Maybe I am stuck in pre-pandemic pricing mode or something.
And something...
