      It’s a phone interview. Atleast that’s what they did with me.

      To try and ease some minds. I do have a little something in my background. A couple of arrest but zero convictions,ever! He was basically just asking what happened. I’ve purchased 4 handguns within the last 5 months with zero issues. I don’t expect a denial.

      My references were indeed contacted today. Shortly after the investigator spoke with my references he called me back. Went through about a 10 minute phone interview then told to watch my email in 2-4 weeks for a denial or acceptance.

      Received a call from MDSP this morning telling me to let my references know that he would be calling them today. Almost one month from the date my application was accepted. What can I expect next?

      I was told 4-6 weeks when I took the very informative 16 hour class. But who knows??

      It’s been 21’days since my HGP app was accepted. What is the normal time before being assigned to an investigator?
