      HQL renewal

Thanks for posting the information. Mine expires in 2026 and I'm eligible to retire in 2027 and, more importantly, able to leave MD. I've been thinking of a firearm purchase as a self-retirement gift... I might have to do it a year early as I don't really want to give this state twenty more...

Country Club Trapping Foxes in Crofton

"Check me if I'm wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers foxes, they're gonna lock me up and throw away the key..." Funny that you post this as just a couple of days ago around 5pm I saw a fox briefly dig in my flower beds outside my kitchen window. Don't remember seeing a fox during the...

      ? on cleaning a .22 revolver barrel

Otis has a small caliber (to include 22) cleaning kit that has a pull cable with attachments for a brush and patch holder that allows the back to muzzle direction. I prefer patches to see how clean I'm getting things but overall I think a bore snake does a better job than this kit. J

Finally got around to processing my birds.

Wow... that is impressive and looks delicious! J

Gun Scrubber / Inflation or Greed?

I've also noticed the price of Gun Scrubber varying widely on multiple sites online. I've essentially done what the OP has done... stock up when the price is right... watch prices and buy when the price is right again to stay ahead of the game. J

      Fed ex in waldorf

Wonder what happens if a CMP rifle is shipped there as the CMP uses FedEx... I assume by contract of some sort. Within the last year or so, I had an ammo purchase from the CMP redirected to the FedEx office in Annapolis as I wasn't home to sign for it (they had begun to allow signatures again...

      Designated Collector approval

Put mine in the mail on December 3rd. Went out of town on December 29th for the New Year's and it was in my mail when I returned on January 2nd. Just under a month with the holidays included.

Palmetto State Armory (PSA) not shipping Lower receivers

I bought a PSA AR-15 Stripped Lower at FTS LLC (formerly Fire for Effect LLC) in Pasadena back in 2020. They are listed as an "FFL Dealers on File" on the PSA website. If things have changed they (or any other MD FFL listed on file on the PSA website) should know. Worth a call or a stop in...

SME Bullseye Sight-In Cameras on Sale at Midway and Amazon. Worth it?

Anyone with any experience using these at a gun range? In particular, whether the range allows or doesn't allow using them? Thanks, Jim

Midway still doing the bday discount?

I received and used mine last August. They sent me an email 6 days before my birthday and the discount was good 7 days before and 7 days after. Yeah... their timing was a little off. You can only use it once during the time period... I decided I liked the price of something I bought and...

      MDSP Licensing Portal Login Issue

Might be some other folders to look in to try to find it. Gmail has "Promotions" and "Social" automatic labels... Outlook (or 365) has the "Clutter" folder in addition to the "Junk E-mail" folder. There are likely others depending on your email provider.

Diver's belt weights - lead composition?

Probably just an activity to focus on while being able to remain calm and use your new diving skills. The "hold your breath" part does include you having to either purge the regulator or exhale first to clear out the water. I don't believe that sharing one regulator is taught anymore. The...
