Yes, Ill take 20 years though! Everything is not all rosy in VA. I haven't found any good machine gun groups like MDTCA down here, it's really surprising how good we have it at AGC.
I hope to get back up to AGC eventually, perhaps we can shoot our little "ex-bullet hoses" together again some...
Thanks for the advise! I'll be moving all of my firearms, and my safe, and especially my NFA stuff myself and will keep the *.20's on me, I wouldn't have thought of that.
Needless to say, I'll be driving VERY conservatively :)

Right there with you. Coffin mag's are essentially priced out of usefulness now that Shockwave is making stick mags (30 and 50 rounds) that'll fit in the MAX-31. The Suomi drums are nice and if you have a Max-31 you should own a few, but stick mags are so much less trouble to load.
I've got a...
Just wanted to say thanks for this thread. I'm in the process of moving and it'll be nice to be able to scan / email these forms in instead of snail mailing them. These fill-able pdf's are really nice, I can save a form filled out for each of my NFA items and just change the date / sign / email...
I'm moving to Fairfax next month and am looking for advice on places to shoot. I know the NRA range is close, but it doesn't fit well with what I like to shoot. I'd like to be able to shoot my machine guns and do long range shooting as well. Being able to shoot steel is a big bonus.
Any...
Yes, or even CNC machines like I have in my garage. I can take a block of aluminum and turn it into a lower in about 8 hours and have something far more potent than those silly little plastic "guns".
A clear case of the judges not really looking at the facts of the case but letting their...
+10. Internet law discussions and advice is fraught with boggy men arguments like you point out.
The OP has been answered: No. 4th hand stories of legal action are always / always missing details.

Good questions and they highlight the conop for this lock in my opinion. This is clearly targeted at the bedside gun concept. A gun that is out of your safe, needs to be quickly accessible, and needs to be secure from people who have free reign in your house (kids, friends, etc.).
As to your...
Ha! I'm going with a black hole weaponry barrel too! I figure it's time to build it, prices aren't ever going to be cheaper IMO and if what I fear happens, happens it'll be a long time before prices return to where they are now.

Savage Mark II FV-SR is a tack driver and well under your budget. It's a great compliment to a 10/22.
For right at your budget, the Savage Mark II TR is another great option.

I bought mine at 2A sales.
When I shoot .22, I bring both the TR...
