The PX-4 is legal in Maryland, I bought one in 9mm with 17 round mags last year.
Its a great gun, I have shot 3500 rounds through it with no malfunctions. The rotating barrel really cuts down on the recoil, and I like the safety/decocker on the slide.

In fact it is more likely that Maryland may tighten gun laws even more in the near future. This Legislative session, Maryland tried to tighten up the gun laws even more, but were not sucessful, this time...

You should look at the Walther P1 from AIM, this is a good deal.
It shoots regular 9mm ammo, and has all the modern features of a new pistol at about half the price.

Do you need to bring your own targets and mounting frames?
Do they sell targets there?
Do they have restrooms?
