Baltimore Police Officer Robbed and Shot (in broad daylight)

Seriously? How do you do that? Prohibition couldn’t stop alcohol and created violence. War on drugs hasn’t stopped drugs and created violence and a population of “criminals” just for being users. When a state allows its citizens to be armed potential criminals have to consider that not only...

      223 effective range under 100yards??

I know this has already been well answered but Yeah that's crazy. With a lead-sled using my Colt AR with 5.56 or .223 I have done better than an 8" group with iron sights at 200 yards and I have no pro training. Did it at Carroll Co landfill the first time I used it at 200 yrds. Fired at 8"...

      Goodbye MD

I wan't sure where to post this. I don't know if there are any lawmakers/politicians in this group but MD is losing another law abiding tax paying native for friendlier lands. I would have loved to settle in the western hills of our state but I'm tired and don't see any light at the end of the...

      S446 Senate National Reciprocity Act

It would seem to me that if national reciprocity gets passed with a home state provision, then when most of the country can legally carry in MD but most Marylanders cannot that would be a solid basis for a lawsuit against "Good and Substantial"

      Re: Out of State Purchases

I know you can buy one in VA. I just talked to a store there while I was waiting for the range. I am not aware of any law that requires you to register long guns in md. If they are not regulated.

      Question for your collective knowledge

The difference is being able to say that the denial based on a lack of "good and substantial reasoning" did cause harm.

      Question for your collective knowledge

Is anyone here aware of any case in MD where an applicant for a CCW was denied and subsequently assaulted/attacked, and if so brought a civil suit against the state? Just thought that kind of story would be a compelling argument for MD CCW especially if they could win and affect the state...

      Hello from Crofton

Umm, they have free public target lanes. I have no Idea how much it is to join. I know that gives u access to a 3-d course.

      Hello from Crofton

I just checked it out a week or two ago myself. They have six free public lanes. Anywhere from 20 to 80 yards or so. I'm going to head over tomorrow to finish sighting in my bow. Just started hunting last year. Pretty excited to get back out there.
