I’m running an Eotech 3x magnifier on my AR and a Sightmark 3x on my M4-22…both with holographic sights. My eyes have sucked since elementary school and now in my 50’s I have gradient trifocals which I absolutely hate. Wouldn’t know what to do without the magnifiers…for me they work great since...
Our GE profile double oven/range had the bottom oven completely stop working. Upper oven seems to have issue getting to temp. Would replace but this sucker was like 3k when we bought it around 7 years ago. New style of finish at the time and all our other appliances match.

If you actually have to use the pistol for it’s intended purpose, an optic will be useless.
You not being comfortable with it is a completely different matter, which also goes to my first point.
