      Ammo sales in MD?

Hi: Tried the search- what are MD rules and regulation on individuals selling ammo? I’m seeing age, but not much else. I see stuff in the classifieds but wonder if I’m missing something? I have some excess ammo I want to safely sell but not sure how to proceed. thanks

      Ellicott City

Chatham road itself is in a nice quiet section. Frederick road can be very busy. North Chatham off Frederick I think is one way north, which eliminates a lot of traffic as it can't be a short cut off 40. That would be plum tree one street west. That area historically has had the best schools...

      New Sig P225

I'm thinking with this, Sig will be phasing out the 239? Spec wise it seems pretty close-close enough not to have both. Bob

Good Chinese restaurant in Ellicott City?

Our go to places in EC: China village 103 great for carry out - dine in and you're all alone Hunan Manor in Dorsey Hall nice for eating in East Moon on 108 by Snowden is more upscale-but very good Bob

      9mm NATO

i have used NATO for years in my Sigs with great results. It used to be about the same as +p at 1185fps, but Winchester seems to have dumbed it down as my newer boxes say 1140fps. Still has sealed primers, excellent quality. The newer boxes have "target" on the box, that I don't remember on...

      357Sig

Sig makes (at least made) a sigtac holster for the 239. Its a paddle style retention holster for OWB carry. I have a 239 SAS 9mm, and fits perfect (as it should) in the holster.

oil or grease on your p226

I'll also agree with grease. I use the Mill-Comm TW25 for almost everything. I also use Mill-Comm 2500 spray (which may now come as an NRA badged product). I run my SIG MK25 and P239 with pretty wet rails. It seems to really help when I use my 22 conversion kit on the 226. I use OTIS stuff...

Meds on the shelf for SHTF...read "rainy day"

Bactrum contains Sulfamethazole, which many are allergic to. Tetracycline only stains teeth while they are developing , so try to avoid use on anyone under the age of 12 (by then most visible teeth are developed). Girls teeth tend to develop earlier than most boys- maybe use 14 for a boy to...

What's in your pocket RIGHT NOW?

Looking for a good EDC knife

Check out a Kershaw Leek as EDC. I always have one in my pocket. Get the SS grip, as anything like G10 is easier to hold, but a pain to pocket. I have at least 6 leeks Buy one and you'll see what I mean...

How long will polymer pistols last?

Am I the only one who has noticed that when major archeological discoveries are made, the only man made objects found are made of metal, wood, fabric, paper, glass, and maybe a few I can't think of. Notice whats missing? Plastic! I find it hard to believe that our current civilization it...

Sight Picture for iron sights and hand guns

I like alucard0822 image the best. I think you have to have the weapon define the aim point. I have 2 Sig pistols where the front dot covers the point of impact. This is with the front and rear dots aligned. In the illustration it's the combat sight picture. I have a Beretta CX4...

      380 vs 9mm

I don't have a lot of pistols. Unlike many, I don't want a lot of pistols. (No problem with that-I'm libertarian) I just want a few pistols that I am familiar enough to use without having to think too much, and can shoot well. I could get a MD "wear and carry permit", but it would be...

      just came back to rimfire.

Beautiful Pistol! The grip is nice, but makes reassembly a little harder. My URX shoots just about anything. I added a Hi Vis front sight, as I'm used to dot sights on my sigs. The front sight is the same screw pattern as a Ruger MKII (at least on mine). Have Fun, Bob

Best gun for shooting sideways and duel-wielding?

Does this come in a left hand model? Bob
