US Gunleather holster for Random P64 but repurposed for a PPK and now for the Ruger LCP Max. Actually fits the Ruger the best. Very comfortable at 3_4 o'clock carry position. Summer carry is the pocket holster that came with the gun.
This is an old Case knife I've had since I was a kid. Found out it was kind of valuable so I stuck it in a drawer so I wouldn't lose it. Pulled it out 50 years later and wondering if it is worth much. Just has sentimental value so not interested in selling, just curious as to value.
Finished the project. A long way from perfect but ok for my first attempt. This stock will fit my Marlin 60's or the 75C as pictured. You can see the seam where the two pieces where glued together but it doesn't look all that bad to me. Three coats of tung oil for a finish. No stain.
This is actually two pieces of walnut glued together to make a piece thick enough for a stock. I know this is not the way it's done but for my first attempt I figured I'd try it. The wood came from a friend's backyard walnut tree that his grown son planted from a nut from the grandmother's...

That's what I was going to suggest. Hi-Point carbine 9mm. Cheap, rugged, reliable and guaranteed for life. You don't have to worry about one of your "good" guns sitting in the trunk or under the panel where the spare tire in the SUV is kept. Take it out once a year for a function check.
I'll be taking a friend to the range for his first time shooting any type of firearm. From what I understand a .22 is probably something I should start with. I'm wondering about a couple of things. Pistol or rifle? Suppressed or not? Eventually both I'm thinking. He wants to shoot an AR...
How about the Rugged Mustang. Very lightweight, titanium and aluminium, under $400. Very quiet too. Actually Hollywood quiet on my pistols with CCI std. velocity.
I've had my LCP Max back to them three times for trigger bite issues. They have replaced the trigger twice and this last time with a new design trigger. Still bites. They test fire 30 rounds each time back with no reported issues. They've put more rounds through it than I have! I'm thinking...
