My dalmation was the best answer for a groundhog. Killed literally more than a dozen. I once saw Lucky with a hefty sized groundhog by the neck, the thing bit Lucky through the tongu so I guess he was a little pissed. shoiok him so bad it snapped his neck.- Poikelos

Ruger SP101 kicks a bit with hot loads but its heavy and runs .38's through it like nothing -
