      Restoration of a Rusty Rifle

Hey Guys, How about a more recent post with pics too! So, my trainer at my gym knew I was "gun guy" and dropped by the garage with, what he called, an old shotgun. Imagine my surprise.... ?No wonder he thought it was a shotgun, it's .69 cal. LOL! I spent a number of hours breaking it down and...

Company Info - Maryland Firearms Training - Tony Domenico, Jr.

Hey Guys, Apologies if I missed your location. Where are your MD CC classes held?

What’s holding you back from taking your conceal carry course?

My thoughts exactly.....perhaps, I'll wait for the dust to settle on this whole C/C training thing before I make the move. I have all of the parts now, just need the papers to make them in compliance.

What’s holding you back from taking your conceal carry course?

Yeah, the costs of courses seems to be "all over the map", so to speak. I've seen, a low of $150 to a high, thus far, of a non-refundable $500 (ouch). Then, one has to consider the "quality" aspect? That is, the validity of the training and the trainers experience and knowledge of MD CC Rules.

      Handgun Roster Petition Help

Coincidentally, I'm picking up a firearm, next week, I purchased the gun in June. It was then I learned it wasn't on "the list" thus, was held by the FFL and submitted to the MD MSP Roster Board in August, in time for their September board meeting. Subsequently, it was approved and added to the...

      "Regulated Firearms Collector" status

I mailed (USPS) my DC on the first of the month and received it by the 2nd or 3rd of the following month. I don't think the C&R app. will come that quick....LOL!

      50 years old

Hey guys Do handguns over 50 years old have to be on the "Approved" MSP list? I understand, I'll still have to use a FFL dealer and NCIS check, just wondering if it has to be on that list. It takes 3-5 months to run the petition gauntlet. Thanks for any experiences. Am awaiting a C&R approval.

      MD Handgun Mag Law clarity

Ok, hypothetical ...You buy a handgun online it has a 12 round mag. It's shipped it to your local FFL. The FFL "pins" the mag to hold 10 rounds before the 77-R is submitted. The 77-R is submitted as a handgun w/10 round mag. Seven days later, the letter arrives Congratulations ....Yada, Yada...

      New Maryland Ammo Restriction??

I have a half a brain to contact them and ask why the restrictions. I've ordered from a number of the other vendors mentioned with no problems too. Yeah, a restriction on ammo sales would be a disaster. I guess we'd have to go back to slinging stones. LOL!

      Another MSP transfer question

The couple transfers, I've done, took exactly 7 days. Each stated the same phase as you noted throughout the waiting period. Although, I did have one that stated "Under Second Review". This made me anxious. When I woke up on day 7, my "Congratulatory" email was there. Keep us posted, if for...
