That would be my wife and my stepson. We are still in the process. Judge still had to decide if the court will hear our case. Don’t think that will be a problem. Can’t say much but we are moving forward. A lot of shady stuff on the BCPS side that’s for sure, but is anyone really surprised.

Yes, they supposedly have a screenshot showing him on his Google Meet/Zoom call for school with a "gun" in the background. We wanted to see it so why know why they thought it necessary to call the police. But they won't share it.

So as it stands now the school system has given us what appears to be one final email covering all the emails we have sent. They also apparently have a screenshot that led to calling the police, but they claim it isn't considered part of his school record so it isn't subject to handing over...
I get that and think it is all crap. We respect all those who respect us. We respect law enforcement and try to teach good life lessons when we are able to. For what police have to deal with daily, we'd rather be a nice part of their day if we haven't done wrong.
I understand that we had every right to refuse them entry. However we had 3 kids at home and have always taught them to respect authority if you have done nothing wrong. We are a veteran family and love our country. We believe all police deserve respect unless the situation deems differently...
