Yeah I have 550B and haven't used it in a long time but used to have others reload without issue on it. Very easy to use and understand. Simple and reliable operation

This one has a bit of a story, he had a buddy that used to make his loads hot for practice and ended up cracking the slide. He welded it and when my dad bought the gun from him, he gave my dad a new slide to put on, but it shot so well, my dad never replaced it.
I have been loading .45 ACP since I can remember and my Dad did back in the 60s before me. We only had brass with large pistol primers on the .45 ACP so a little confused here?
Thanks, I'll check out the other board. Just the info you folks have provided has been very informative. I am definitely not up on the latest trends and stuff so this has been a great learning experience.
Sure, Originally a New Yorker who grew up in Jersey. Been in MD for about 20 Years now. Navy brought me here and kept me here.
My dad was an avid shooter and these both belonged to him. I shot them as a kid (much easier to hit the target with the easy trigger pull) but I never competed...
Looking to find anyone interested in Target .45's that are accurized to shoot Semi-Wadcutter Rounds for Target Shooting.
