Hello all. I am in the search for a new firearm to add to my CCW rotation. The two that I have now are a Ruger SR9C and a Ruger SP101 357, which neither have ever hiccupped on me. Now looking for something smaller and lighter then I have now. Which one would you pick out of the ones below. I have narrowed it down to the following:

    1. Sig Sauer P365
    2. Hellcat
    3. HK VP9SK
    4. HK P30SK
    5. FN Reflex recommended by Tactical Shepard and feels amazing in hand.

Anyone wish to throw something else into the mix and if so why?

Plain old P365. I forget I am even carrying it. Although it can be a handful with +P rounds. I have heard good things about the M&P Shield Plus. I am getting ready to pick one up.

Second the P365, only upgrades I'd recommend are the Wilson Combat grip module and the flat trigger from the XL model.

I'm a big fan of the P365 platform.

I'd recommend staying away from anything from Canik. I've had two, and both had significant problems. When they work, they're nice, especially their micro MC9. But many develop a problem with the slide release spring.

I’m a huge fan of the Shield plus. I've been carrying the original shield for 10+ years and just upgraded to the Plus.

365 without a doubt. Shield Plus also a good option.

I'm in love with my 365-380 with the wilson combat grip frame.

If your intent is to go smaller and lighter, the P365 (or variant) all day. The HKs mentioned aren't practically any smaller or lighter than your SR9c. I have and carry a P30SK, but it's large enough that it is generally relegated to cooler weather carry. P365 gets carried far more.

I carry a regular 365 most of the time. Only mod is the flat trigger. It is almost invisible when I carry it. I usually carry a 10 round mag with a +2 floor plate and two 17 round spare mags. I also sometimes carry a Gen 5 Glock 19 with red dot when the weather is cold. It's quite a bit larger than the 365 but I like it.

Shot the P365 and hated it. The tang rams into my dominant hand thumb bone with every shot. Ended up grabbing a Canik MC9 and with a trigger this good, wouldn't have it any other way.
