Ankle carry is better suited for a second gun , than for an " only" gun .

Maybe I can put this into a little more context.

My life has been threatened a couple of times by assailants with a knife/razor. When I was 13 I was sitting on my bike after delivering newspapers looking at a lake in the late afternoon. A guy from the same part of town snuck up behind me and held a razor to my neck and demanded money. I gave him the 2 quarters I had in my pocket. Another time when I was in my 20s a guy came up to my older brother and hit him in the face. He then brandished a knife and it was a standoff because my brother was a lot bigger than that guy. He finally left but he could've stabbed both of us.

The kid who held a razor to me throat had the audacity to walk up to me like we were old buddies a few years later because his Dad was visiting my neighbor's father. I beat the hell out of him right there on the street. Got my revenge.

The other dude is dead now but that could happen at any time. So concealed carry is a very real thing I need to master.

I carry every chance I can. I long for the freedom other states enjoy

Ditto.

I've seen several 'gun' and other specialty websites like that, where all of the articles seem to contain decent factual info but are obviously not written by an English speaker:

Quote:

Full metal jackets (FMJ) bullets, on one hand, have flat tips and are good in penetrating anything that comes into its path.

However, both the ball ammo and the FMJ have one thing in common which is not very agreeable.

Using these two, they tend to pass through the body on close range shot. And that makes these bullets very dangerous to use when in public and shooting a criminal to immobilize him.

Ok, thatís enough for the backgrounder!

Also no videos, no pics created specifically for the page, no personal experience with the firearms they write about.

My guess is English-as-a-second-language speakers in other countries being paid to create content, probably gathering facts from other sites. Probably college students in India, China, etc. Better than putting them to work as telemarketers, I guess.

Concealment is most important to me so my choice is 380.

People often over look Khar Arms, I had a CW380 for several years before I traded up to a CW40 and K40 for more fire power based on some of my LEO buddy's recommendation.

Have a CW380 and PM9. Great little pistols, the PM9 is dead reliable with everything, pretty accurate and easy to shoot fast. Ended up getting replaced with a P365, same size, but better trigger, better sights, faster to shoot and 4 more rounds of capacity. The CW380 is a little ammo picky, but most FMJ and loads that use XTP bullets are reliable. Main issue some have is the really steep feed angle, and they can have feed issues, older models had weak mag catches. Both have a nice DAO trigger, the long smooth 7# pull is good for control, but has the full length reset most all DAOs had before short reset triggers like the GLOCK safe action came around.
