This. I get being on a tight budget (right there with you), but the $25-$100 you'd spend (depending on stamp add ons) is a lot cheaper then defending yourself against dnr tickets.

It is the whole state. Also not unprecedented. Plenty of areas did the same during the Spanish flu. Fines up to $100 which would be $1200-1300 today.

The only gun I've had issues with was an early model Remington 597 in .22LR. I never could get it to feed properly. Tried different brands of ammo, different mags, replaced springs, etc.

In that case I'd talk to an attorney to see what legal issues it could cause. Personally, I wouldn't risk it in a setting where neighbors and/or passerbys could see/hear what is going on.
