So let me get this right. If i am NOT a resident of Maryland, I can have "assault rifes" and bring them into the state as I PCS? Provided I register them? Then WTF do we have these "banned" laws for?
On the military side, anytime you PCS, you become the "resident" of that state.
So I...
Hi guys,
I am an active duty military guy currently stationed in MD. I have to move away due to military orders for about 6 months before coming back into Maryland (No orders but I kinda know). Obviouslly, I am not going to be able to keep an address in Maryland. However, I have sevearl...
Soldiers get beat, shot, rob by local thugs all the time. Really doesn't surprise me. Anyone could be a victim these days. I had a coworker and his wife (both Army officers) who was trailed from base to his house, then they were robbed.
I have a wilson combat CQB model and I would like to replace the wilson combat pyramid night sights. I called wilson and they said they would only replace the rear sights. The front sight is a different cut. From your experience, is this true and I am stick with wilson sights?
I have matech sights on my work M4A1. They work well, but I kinda hate that it only got one type of aperture. The elevation knob is also based on a 25 meter zero, so if you use a 100 meter zero, it doesn't work.
CDNN has HOWA varmint for less than 400 bucks. In my view, if you are not tricking it out, the HOWA will be the best bang for the buck. You lose nothing to the remington 700 base models.
1 MOA with a M14 rifle is more or less a National Match/ Supermatch level rifle. M14 is a decent design, but it's difficult to get sustained accuracy out of the system. Basically, a 1 MOA M14 will cost you in the 2k range.
I am thinking about buying one due to their 12% Chrismas discount. Anyone own one nearby? I am in White Marsh, MD. Would like to try it out before dumping 4k+. If anyone runs one, please let me know and i will see if we can meet up so I can check out the system. Please let me know. Thanks.
Yes, they do suck that much..... My friend had one and he tried very hard to sell it, but no luck....
Trigger suck, sights suck, crappy grip, shitty material.... I can go on and on.
Nothing wrong with training with your gear...I do that from time to time. It's the guys that are dressed for battle and 400 lbs with unsafe firearm handling skills that worries me.
I had one, sold it. I got it off SIG's MIL/GOV sales program at a great price. A very interesting concept but very difficult to find the rings mount if you are using large diameter scopes. The cheek weld is just wierd.... Maybe I have shoot AI/SAKO and found it difficult to change. Def not for...
