      Silencers: Yes or No?

      It's always seemed ridiculous that suppressors need a tax stamp - most hearing protection doesn't. It's just misconceptions from movies. Not a lot of criminals like to pay tax stamps for a not-"hollywood-quiet" suppressor.

      That doesn't really help if you want something now - or nearby. Georgia Arms is the cheapest, and they're 5-7 weeks out (at least for .45ACP).
