      In one of the articles I read on this topic, at least one Councilperson said, "I think it's a bad idea, but my mind is open." Which usually means, "There is no way in he!! this is going to happen." Shame that the Council had already decided before the meeting even took place. I truly hope...

      So, I've learned a bit in this thread regarding firearms storage. Some people hide them, so hang them over the fireplace, others put them in a simple storage container, and still others store them in a highly rated, very expensive safe. I'm just glad to live in a country where we can own...

      Funny, I have the same thing on my mind. Looking for a deal on Friday, and dreading dealing with a 800# or more "safe" to be placed in the house somewhere. Hope to hear some feedback on this from others.
