I have one and absolutely love it. It is very well built and the fit and finish is well above its price point. Excellent pistol for the money, anyone who tell you otherwise never handled one.
Ive only shot the PT1911, and RIA and I bought a Desert Eagle 1911. In my opinion the DE1911G is deffinetly worth a look I picked mine up locally for $670. It comes with a skeletonized trigger and hammer, it has a beavertail, and one of the best out of the box triggers Ive ever used.
I have the SR9c and it is an awesome shooter. It eats anything I feed it, Ive never had a single issue yet and I carry it just about everyday for about 2 yrs.
Its a shame he is a Steeler but James Harrison. On second thought that wouldnt help the cause. I like the Luke Scott idea better. Its really a shame this is an issue for MD.
For my Ruger SR9c I have a Stoner holster, which is a high quality IWB holster. For my 1911 I went a cheaper route because I dont carry it very often, I use a Old Faithful Holster, its alot like the Supertuck but you have to assemble it yourself. Very cost effective.
Thanks guys, I lived in Westminster, PRMD for 22 years before I made the move. I never realised how many rights I didn't have until I moved into the Hanover/McSherrystown area. I still travel the area quite a bit and frequent the Hap Baker range for some target practice with a few friends.
A former MD'er here, relocated to PA where I have some actual gun rights now lol. I enjoy some shooting, and hunting, also wanted to meet some other gun people, and maybe share some of my opinions. Nice to meet ya'll.
