      MDSP transfer time frame

I transferred about two months ago at the Glen Burnie barracks. On the third or fourth day a Trooper called to tell me not to transfer until something was cleared up with the buyer. I was told that when I received the "Not Disapproved" paperwork in the mail, than I'd be ok to transfer ownership...

      New PX at Fort Meade

Tried to check out the gun counter today. Sign says it is closed on all Sunday's and will be closed tomorrow also since it is a Federal holiday, even though the rest of the PX will be open.

      Buds Gun Shop.com

You should be ok. Buds has not failed me yet, and I've bought and sold through them. For a place in Kentucky, they are pretty good about trying to keep up with legalities in all the states, even complicated ones like ours, and taking care of their customers.

      SB281 Signed yet?

I agree that he is just trying to time it when he can get the most fanfare and least protest for it. All the news lately would have blocked his parade from national television. He's just waiting for the best camera time.

      FSA2013 Compliant Rifles

I am just getting into the M-14 style rifles.....so there are differences? I believe the current AG interprets a "copy," to mean that parts are interchangeable. Are they not completely interchangeable with the Springfield M1A? One of the most popular type of rifles for competition, and they...

      FSA2013 Compliant Rifles

Just curious - but since the M1A will now be banned, that would also mean Fulton Armory's M-14s will be too, correct? The M-14 is FA's main product. I know that they are not nearly as big as Beretta, but did FA raise any raucus that we know of? Seems the General Assembly kind of tried to...

      Maryland Sheriffs at Today's Rally

We can't forget that Sheriff Jenkins of Frederick County was there on the 1st to testify against SB281. Another good Sheriff on our side.

Someone please note this for me, as I'm out of state right now. Maybe Sheriff Jenkins will be there again for our side.

Official March 1 Real Time Discussion Thread

I love how O'Malley has a couple Police Chiefs that are POLITICAL APPOINTEES supporting him. Notice, no freely elected Sheriffs are there for him and his bill.

      SB281 Real Time Discussion Thread

Am I reading this wrong, but one of the ammendments that they just passed reads - So now you will be penalized for registering an "assault" long gun, even if the other paragraphs require it? http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2013RS/amds/bil_0001/sb0281_96322202.pdf

      SB281 Today!!

Frosh's Ammendment for 2 features to be a copycat passed? Isn't that what was used for the '94 AWB?

      Beretta May Leave Maryland

Beretta's threat may not impress O'Malley or all the anti-gunners in Annapolis, but it will definitely get the attention of the PG County politicos who usually support the anti agun agenda. That's a tax base in their yard.
