      Any recommendations near the National Harbor? I just called a gun shop and they wanted $70 (transfer), $30 (lock), and $10 (MD form). Is this the normal rate?

      I've only purchased from stores so I don't know the procedure. How do I legally go about purchasing from a family member/friend? What forms will need to be filled out to register it under my name? How much is the "transfer" usually?

      10/22 spare parts

      What do you do with your spare parts? Do you sell them or keep them? For example barrel, stock, hammer, or all the other things you've upgraded. Has anyone ever built another 10/22 from those spare parts?

      Hunter Education/Safety Course at Southern Maryland Archers

      My seven year old just finished the two day course. I'm surprised and pleased at how much they teach and how much I learned as a chaperon. The assessment in the beginning of the course displays that even adults don't know everything and have room for growth. We won't be hunting anytime soon but...

      Is there such a thing? Which .410 ammo do you use? I'm won't be using them for game. Just target shooting for now.

      Mark III vs 22/45

      I've tried searching for what the difference is and still can't understand. They look very similar. Is the 22/45 is exactly like a mark III but with a 45 grip? Right now I'm looking at a mark 22/45 hunter model. But can't find this model on ruger's website. Could it be mislabeled at the store...
