I didn't think it warranted a post of its own but going forward October 1st we're still good with the previous knife laws with a wear and carry correct? The verbiage only mentions firearms from what I can tell.
Clippinger was asked flat out about historical context and he doesn't have a clue. We just need to pass something to pass something is this whole sessions objective.
While I respect his knowledge and efforts to further gun rights in MD his conversational language with other community members, including myself, has been quite atrocious as of late. Considering there was already a one week suspension in this thread it's probably a good idea to just ignore...
This is what I like to see. Just charging enough to help everybody out without trying to gouge every Tom Dick and Harry who want to exercise their 2a freedoms.
I know of one instructor personally that was all for the 16 hour requirement because it would make them more money. Most are only taking this class because it's a required hurdle to exercise a right we've been without for so long.
I will never volunteer that I'm carrying unless in a state that requires it and certainly won't mention the word "gun". If asked I'll respond appropriately and ask how they'd like to proceed and I will not be removing said firearm from the holster with my own hands. The amount of ccw stories...
Do you require them to qualify with one of the weapons they're going to carry or just a proper sized caliber? Just wondering if instructors are actively denying people for using a full sized handgun to qualify but want to carry something smaller.
Doesn't matter MSP would have no problem picking up the tab the locals refuse to.
Is this in reference to people with MD wear and carry permits as well?
Appreciate stuff like this thanks. I get tired of reading the bill every time it changes and having to skim up and down for twenty minutes on a pdf to decipher it.
Thats not my fault that you're reading into it further than elaborated through text.
The conversation was about the upper level leaders of that particular union who carries the weight to influence opinion in the MGA actually do the opposite of the mission statement. No where did I say the beat...
I'm of this same sentiment until I realize I have a wife and four year old relying on me. The chances of me getting assaulted or killed vs carrying in a restricted area and being seen by a random Karen and going to jail for up to 3 years is vastly lopsided.
