      Perfect defense isn’t always possible. Sure, it’s best to lock a door and set up an ambush position while you’re on the phone to 911, but if you have kids in other rooms or on other floors, you can’t hide and need to engage. I guess we will just have to disagree.

      What prep items did you get recently?

      Not very sexy but I added some non- clumping kitty litter to my vehicle emergency kit to help with traction on ice/snow if I get stuck.

      Agree wirh MattFinals718. Aiming through a red dot is doing it wrong. Both eyes open and allowing the optic housing ghost in your vision is actually easier with a small device like the Aimpoint T-1. Besides my T-1s, I have also been happy with my Primary Arms red dots.

      Europtic, Primary Arms, and SWFA. Avoid OpticsPlanet unless you like waiting. They often don’t really have that item in stock, regardless of what they say on the page.
