Thanks for the responses. In this particular case, I'm considering buying something from a friend in another state with no 10-round restriction, in which case I assume I'd need to buy a 10-round mag separately and bring it to the FFL when I pick it up. Is that correct?
I'm not a handgun guy, but I've been considering getting one. I know we have a 10-round limit on magazines for all firearms, but what I can't figure out is if this applies only to the magazine itself or if it applies to the pistol that's designed with a "standard" magazine with more than 10...

Great question. I'd love to see some date from the city on that.
I remember registering an M1 carbine several years back. I had to buy a 10-round magazine (that didn't feed for shit and I've not touched since), as the regular 15-rounders are verboten in DC. At the time I could have...

I stopped by today for a few hours to do some shooting. The new "pergola" does provide a little shade on the line this time of year. You'd think after all the work they did on the place, they would have fixed the distance markers. Most of them were unreadable and falling over. What's up with that?
What's with the roof structure located ahead of the firing line? Seems odd to do it like that, especially since we've all been pining for roof over the benches for years.
