      I didn't attend because my "good and substantial reason" is a current threat and I refuse to disarm. I'm not sure how many permit holders feel the way I do, but I'm likely not the only one. As to the atmospheric conditions, I'm from upstate NY. Tuesday was swimming weather.

      We're building a home on Lake Pend Oreille near Sandpoint, Idaho. 60 miles from the Canadian border, but since it's on the leeward side of the Cascades, relatively mild winters. Wife retires in 6.5.
