Hi everyone - thanks for the responses - great info! To answer some of the questions - lot 1 (to me) is a 870 pump shotgun and a Kimber and a Glock pistol. The second lot (to my other friend) is a Taurus and a Beretta pistol.
Question - my friend also has an IO AK47 and a Colt (non-hbar)...
Ok everyone:
1) Cindy's Hotshots didn't know what to do.
2) Maryland State Police Barracks in Glen Burnie didn't know what to do.
3) Calls and emails to the MFLD in Pikesville are not answered and no responses.
No one seems to know.
TLDR: My best friend died in January 2023 unexpectedly...
Secondary seller option on the transfer portal is looking for a human, not an estate. I will just have the estate rep take them up and plunk them on the counter then.
Hi everyone - new to me event - best friend died and the estate is selling his firearms. The estate is in Howard County and I am in Anne Arundel so no out of state transfer is required.
I have a valid HQL and am a designated collector. I am not blood so I cannot claim inheritance. I will...
You know what really burns me up about SB1? The original submittal is what we testified against. It was so bad, even the Maryland State Police lobbied against it. Then the Montgomery County Wonderboy finally gets whatever Bloomberg legal activist to re-write the bill to something entirely...
I am going to use you guys for my next transfer. I was looking for a new place to use... I don't mind going over the bridge. :) And I like your philosophy on your website.
I am an experienced shooter, have a carry permit and I got treated like a moron at the last place that transferred a...
I have an AMT Hardballer Longslide. I’m the second owner - have the box and all of the original paperwork. The gun is A POS. Poor fit and finish and it is a jammomatic. Mags and gun need to be reworked (including the aluminum) - just haven’t had time or interest to do so. Save your money or look...
This. Even though he is a city councilman and we have preemption laws (for now), I bet they are looking for words and language to use in upcoming gun control legislation likely at the state level. It wouldn't surprise me if someone in the MGA puts it in for him. Then the dummy takes credit...
I got my Fatboy 64 from Baldinos\Liberty with no problems. Delivery is handled out of Baldinos in Towson. All Glen Burnie did was take payment for what I ordered on the liberty website. Never talked to the store after that, just the lady that scheduled the deliveries once your safe arrives in...
Dude - put down whatever you are smoking if you think for a single second that I am in support of any type, shape or form of gun ban or supporting this feel good rubbish of a bill. Go tell it to the (D)s who sponsored this at the federal level. My point was addressed at someone who thought...
Never give an inch. Letting us keep isn't any consolation or any thing to be happy about. History shows us in the US and other countries that keeping can be changed to forfeit in 30 days or become a criminal. Say you are at the range and shooting next to a cop - how do you prove your mag is...
True - but I am discouraged at what happened in Virginia (and other states) at the state level yesterday. Here is hoping that that trend does not play out.
Agreed to a point, but I am worried that the country will take a hard left turn and this will be an issue in the future. Say the house and senate have lefties in power in 2018 - they certainly can potentially (and probably do it to happily prove their agenda) override a Trump veto. Let's also...
This thread should be moved to the National 2A forum. Cardin/Van Hollen's rhetoric is at the federal level, not state as someone stated. This is not a Maryland 2A issue per-se since we are already living with this at the state level.
Say the lawsuit did work... I am sure the Maryland General Assembly would try to end it all at the state level. Pre, post, whatever... it wouldn't matter if the state law says no and the anti's have the votes. The lawsuit is a big hill to climb... getting the state to abide is even bigger...
