      MGA proposing lead ammo ban for hunting

      Looks like MD finally jumped on the "Ban lead ammo" train. Senator young proposing lead ammo phase out by 2026. SB0983. Personally, I generally try to limit lead use where I can, but there's really no alternative for some of my ammo.

      So last night DNR posted on their Facebook page that they were going to be conducting a public survey of opinions on bear hunting. Sure seems to me like they are laying groundwork for closing the season. They say it's part of a larger plan to examine management, but they don't state what that is.
