So I have a Saiga 308 purchased pre 10/2013, unregulated with a monte carlo stock and really bad fish hook trigger, can I legally convert this thing with a Saiga Thumbhole stock in MD so I can replace the trigger group or am I just stuck.
Couldn't find anything on this, but would a side charging AR be considered a legal configuration ?
I ask cause I saw PSA was selling some side charging uppers and wouldn't mind building one...
Anyone with a Yugo M70 OPAP find a good side mount rail, I have tried the 5th Gen UTG, but it sits loose, maybe some modding will fix it, but I would prefer not to. The UTG fix like a glove on a friends SAIGA so it not the UTG.
Thanks in Advanced..

I think I have lived in Maryland to long, at first I was like that is damn illegal, then I remember that this was in AZ a more free state than MD.
I think a screwed myself literally and figuratively, I was trying to remove the screws to replace the top rail on my sig 556 and 2 out of three screws didn't come out, the head got stripped. I should have stopped here. I tried using the easy out screw removers thats just destroyed both heads...

Sorry if its a retread, its messed up that a teacher would do this...
I am sorry of this has been discussed, I researched and found a lot of discussions about moving/adding/switching from 5.56/.223 upper to a .22lr Upper.
I have AR15 with a dedicated .22lr upper as it was transferred/registered to me and now I want to add a 5.56 upper so I can switch between the...
So I was surfing the my favorite online retailers and found this deal on AIMSURPLUS.com
$669.95 :shocked4: for Delton DTI-4 AR
http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/DEL-TON_DTI-4_.223_5.56_Rifle.html#a3438
Edit: Forgot to add they seem willing to leave out the 30 rnd Mag :-)
So what if I purchase an HBAR upper and a stripped lower and had both shipped to an FFL, is this considered HBAR rifle and can be transferred to me with out the 7 day wait?
My thought is, it's technically not a complete rifle so, you would have to wait the 7 days.
So I seem to be striking out on the Colt M4 and can't afford a Spikes, I found that model1sales has a 22lr kit ($560) which includes everything, but the stripped lower ($90 Aimsurplus). Question is has anyone used or heard about model1sales rifles...
Check this out, the Scottsdale Gun Club has them in stock

Hmm Buy now wait for Sig 522 or SW M&P 22
I beleive they just came out recently. Apparantly S&W calibered the M&P 15 in 5.45x39, which I found over at AimSurplus 1000 rounds for a price friendly $120
Versus triple to feed my sig 556.
I think they are made by Stag Arms and rebranded by S&W
