I picked mine up last week. A bit small in my mitts . But feels good. Need to sneak out to the range with it soon. My only gripe is that the trigger on mine is terribly gritty. My original Hudson has a much nicer trigger. Hopefully they can resolve this. I believe mine will where in . But if... -

the only difference I will point out is that the sample you provided at auction is the same rifle. it does have the black stocks which were very rare during that pre ban guns. so they do command a premium over the green 1s. -

have you cleaned your gas system? I know there gas system if it gets clogged will cause the gun to recoil harder. also reach out to them , perhaps something else is going on? I have had zero mag issues. none of my guns are the X models. -
