If you want a rugged watch it's hard to beat the low end $40-Ish G-Shock. It will take more abuse than your wrist will and if it gets too beat up it's easily replaced.

If you like white dialed watches, Janis Trading Company (NTH watches) is having a pre sale next month. There are a couple neat white ones. I have one from his last run and it has become my favorite.
I've only run a couple hundred rounds through it but so far it's been solid and shoots well. My primary 1911 is a Norinco heavily modded with Wilson Combat and Chip McCormick parts. The STI compares very favorably.
