      The Browning HP might be "nothing special" but it shoots like hell. Carried one as a service pistol more a few years and it never let me down.

      Sending Sig 516 to Manufacturer for Repair

      Surprised to hear of your issues. I owned one a 516 and must have put about 4000 rounds through it with not one failure ever. And I only ever used the cheapest range ammo I could find. Would be interested to know how Sig supports your repair.

      Is this a good backpack?

      I have the smaller version of this, it has held up well over the 3 years I have had it. have not loaded it too heavy and just used as a day bag for me. Only thing I don't like is the zippers are not very smooth. Often have to give them a tug to get them open/closed. Other than that for the price...

      For the money Vortex is your best bet (Can't beat the warranty which also transfers). In that range a close second, and a scope built like a tank is the Falcon Menace or the Super Sniper as others mentioned.

      New marlin 45/70 lever gun

      I absolutely love my JM stamped 45-70 Govt. Incredibly fun to shoot. Changed out the factory trigger and switched to aftermarket sights and good to go
