      South Carolina Senate passes Constitutional Carry bill H 3594 by a margin of 28 to 18. It now goes to the Governor to be signed into law and make South Carolina the 29th Constitutional Carry state.

      That's correct. No more $50 fee to SLED when applying for your permit. I'm assuming this would apply to permit renewals also.

      House passed it. Senate is still deliberating it. Four weeks remaining in the session but this is the first of a two-year cycle so they can pick back up next year where they leave off this year.

      When we moved south a couple years ago, I had all the firearms in their cases under a blanket in the crew seat of my pickup. All the ammo was in cans under a tarp in the bed with a lot of the contents of my shed laying on top. Shovels, rakes, leaf blower, gas cans made great camo.

      Maryland I weep for you!

      I retired and left Maryland for several reasons. Weather, taxes, politics all were a factor in the decision. I consider it a "redeployment" to more favorable ground where I can keep more of my money and I get more representation with the tax dollars that go to the state.
