      Project rifle

      I just received a family heirloom. 1909 k98 gew German Argentinian Mauser. The stock has been bubbad. Has a Douglas barrel chambered in 458 win mag. I understand the rail needs to be opened up.       I have 1000 CCI Bench Rest Primers. BR-4 Small Rifle in APS Strips. I don’t have a hand primer for the strips. I will trade for the same primers not in strips. If no one has a trade I will give the EMPTY strips to anyone that needs them.

      Takedown screw thread pattern

      I need some MDShooters wisdom. I have a Remington 788 that I am restocking. I want to get/make some stock makers screws, longer with no head. I know the front is 1/4-28. The rear screw is close to a 10-32 but not quite. Any idea what the threads might be?

      I am looking for a semi inletted unfinished stock for a Remington 788 short action. Richards microfit has what I’m looking for but I can’t get in touch with them. Corona virus? Does anyone know where I can get one somewhere between finished and a piece of wood?
