If you have more and you want a project I say do it! I have a few guns I've experimented with and turned out great. I love Em. You won't know till you try! If you can afford it do it!
I'm assuming he is referring to the Air Force. I was in the af for three years before I joined the army and I was security forces. We always said air cops...
Well paint I have used krylon. Not permanent. Washes off with clp and scrubbing or acetone. The paint won't really help keep heat off though. There is a product that is on triads tactical a website. It's s "sniper skid plate" but you could use it to keep you hand from burning on the rail...
If the ATF tries to make this "illegal" what about all the glocks with stocks and the kits that allow you to shoulder just a plain ole glock... Just a thought. I don't think they hold weight. How can the ATF tell me how to shoot any gun.. Especially after they made is legal. . Just a thought.
From what I've heard from experienced smiths and what I've ovserved personally there is not real reason to lap the aluminum mounts as they are quite precise already. I would just mount it and rock and roll. And as you mentioned they are intended to be paired so I'd think it'd be as good as it...
Great looking rifle! I'm working on my SPR build as we speak too. I'm gonna use the mega arms SPR barrel though. See how it runs. I have a couple noveske barrels already and wanna try something else. I'll post pics when it's done. Should be in the next couple months.
Well I think I will have to take that advice. I ran across a video by the "military arms channel" on YouTube. I think it was posted on this site... But point being he made a lot of good points about the arm brace. Would make for a good truck gun!
That would be awesome. I'd be excited about those skeletonized drum mags. Forget who makes Em but they are like $300! I've been intrigued by those and would def pick one up.
