These people want to do this as a career. If they are limited to single terms because of an anti gun stance they will eventually change to our side....it's human nature.
That sounds good in theory, not so much in practice. There are a variety of crimes they can still charge you with, not to mention you will be risking your life.
Delegate Kach supports the 2A as it was written, not some modern revisionist interpretation. The others you mentioned are so obviously phony I find it hard to believe anyone who frequents this forum would buy into it. Kach will vote no, end of story. Like others have said a simple "thank you" is...
I'm in the same boat. Job is too good to quit. I lived out of state for 9 years and moved back here for work. We are stuck here for a while. I do, however, know a ton of Baltimorons who would never fathom living anywhere else.
Don't move here unless we are talking high six figures. It's too cold to do anything outside for 5 months of the year. Summer is great, but short. Leftist hipsters and white guilt yuppies everywhere you turn, taxes, terrible gun laws, no where to four wheel or camp or shoot. I can assure you...
Delegate Kach is against the owemalley gun ban and is a firm believer in the 2A. Also, I don't believe either of the companies mentioned employ people in Baltimore County, but I could be wrong. That being said I have already contacted him several times.
Sorry, this isn't the good news we had hoped for. With the AWB removed, the magazine restrictions and background checks stand a MUCH better chance of passing. Then all they have to do is wait for another "mass" shooting to bring back the AWB. They want us to relax now. This is a trojan horse...
If the rifle is for you then no paperwork is required. If you ever want to sell it, then you will need to give it a serial number and submit all appropriate paperwork to the atf. Building a reliable ak from a flat and a parts kit is not easy and the advantages of being off the grid are minimal...
Great read!! This part is my favorite:
"Being a felon in possession of a firearm is not the default status. More importantly, where a state permits individuals to openly carry firearms, the exercise of this right, without more, cannot justify an investigatory detention."
If it's legal for you to take posession of the pistols in Georgia, then you simply bring them to MD and you are done. MD laws apply to transactions that take place within the state of MD.
O'Malley wants to be president. Getting the law passed is what he wants and that is it. The MSP is not going to proactively go after those who haven't registered. The potential political damage is too great.
I know several police/troopers that are pro gun and do not want any new gun laws. None of them want to deal with enforcing this BS. At the same time not one is willing to quit or get fired to avoid doing their job.
I agree with not giving up. On the flipside though, moving to the right state can add US Senate and Rep seats in our favor. On a national level, the votes of freedom loving Marylanders go to waste here and could be more tactically useful elsewhere. On the state level we can still affect some...
