Thanks for the ideas, everybody. On a positive note, and much to my surprise with everything I read before I bought it, there weren't any malfunctions. Even with the ProMag magazine that came with it, it functioned well, so in that regard, it looks like things are good mechanically.
Thanks for the suggestion, Jimbob. I am new to Kel-Tec's firearms but have heard they have good customer service. I have not talked to them yet, but if folks seem to think its a gun and not a "frangible-ammo-out-of-a-longer-than-usual" barrel issue, I will definitely be contacting them.
