AAFG IDPA matches are open to the public. They're having a match this Saturday at 10. Setup is at 9am. Bring eye and ear protection and introduce yourself. Before you compete in a match at AAFG you must either have shot IDPA at a different club or go through the AAFG action pistol orientation...
That won't be a problem. It's a public event. Jim, the match director, won't mind. If you get there a few minutes early you can ask questions while we're setting up the course. It's a fairly casual NRL22 event. I'd encourage you to sign up and shoot even as a first timer.
