      Yes the State Park is south of Rt 77 the other 2 are north. Been on Cat Rock a few times don’t remember to much of a view. Power lines toward Rt 15, but probably not what you were looking for.

      Suggest Rt144 in place of 70 for as long as he can, Mt Airy area I believe. SD weapon is a personal choice, everyone is going to come up with different ones. I lean toward the Sub2k, a 1022 TD with some 25 rd mags might be good too. Most all choices involve compromise of some sort...

      I’d go with the Zion over Hanover built AR’s as Ski Patrol Dude said. I’d also take an AR over the PCC first. Later if you like, get the PCC for fun. I keep a couple HG’s accessible for HD. LG’s for recreation, and social needs locked up til needed. I don’t have kids in the house anymore. :)
