And that's what I have been seeing. I really wanna build one of these. Thx for clarifying. Looks like a fun project.

Glad I found this thread. Been looking into doing one of these. I'm still learning what's what. Am I mistaken or is there no gen 4 poly80 frames? I have a g19 and wouldn't mind trying this. What I'm seeing is won't fit the gen 4 recoil spring.

Welcome. You will get lots of good info here. I am learning the laws myself still. Did you have something in mind that your looking to purchase?

That's for sure. I just recently began buying firearms again. It's already becoming an expensive hobby. I plan on hitting the range weds morning up near my work. I have yet to get to the range myself.

I looked into it because just like you I hear the shots all the time. I have a buddy that is a member there and he said the same. Have to be sponsored but a member that's been in good standing for 3 years. And if I'm not mistaken there is a waiting list.

Not quite sure how to go about doing that. Do you have any of their info? If anything I would love to learn the origin of it.

It's not and has not been in working condition since received. Just thought it would be a cool piece to be restored.

This is the kind of info I been looking for. The more info I can get the better. Thanks all for the info so far. My father in law passed before I gained possession of it. So this is the story that was passed to me.

I have a 22 pistol that I inherited from my father in law who claims to have gotten it when he was in Vietnam. I would like to get it back to working order. If anybody could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I am in the Baltimore area.
The markings say it's a colt and on...
