      Make black powder

Is it legal to make your own black powder in MD? Seems the rules states powders must be stored in their original containers so that would put you in breach if you made your own, right?

      MD handgun roster

Can someone explain the new Handgun Roster that appears to be doing away with model numbers, or am I reading it wrong? I am looking at a Pietta 1873 Single Action revolver but it is not listed on the allowed list (search) although other 1873 variants are.

      MD Law concerning Replicas

I'm not sure which forum this fits into but I was looking to buy a Denix replica STEN gun and after finding no one on Gunbroker who would ship to MD I started looking around and it seems as if MD has banned replicas of firearms that look real. Can anyone tell me what the exact law ruling is in...

      Cowboy action practice

Does any know of a range where I can practice shooting steel targets in quick succession to get my cowboy action practice better. Right now I just shoot at matches which means I am not getting any real practice. Most ranges don't let you shoot steel.

      Cimarron Pistolero

Anyone know if the Cimarron Pistolero revolver is on the MD Handgun roster. I have looked at the roster online and I can't see it but I can see other 1873 single actions and I am not sure whether any of these cover the Pistolero.

      Definition of "Replica"

I am looking to sell a BP cap and ball revolver and just checking the legality. According to ATF, which MSP refers to as they don't have a definition on this issue, an antique firearm can be either older than 1899 or a replica of such that doesn't use modern ammunition (paraphrasing). I have...

      SKS

Sorry if this has been asked before. The MD State Police website states that SKS with detachable magazine is a banned firearm. Do they mean after market magazines? All SKS's can open the magazine case so is that not considered detachable? Also, are the Yugo SKS with grenade launchers legal...

      How to sell BP pistol

I have a Pietta 1862 6 shot police pistol, only shot once. I am trying to find a way to sell it. I know some folks don't like it because it is not a model of an actual gun, but I like the 1860 army style in 36 cal. Can anyone suggest the best way that I could sell it. Within MD I believe it...
