CZ 457 Varmint, or Trick Out my 10/22

I agree with previous comments. I would leave that Ruger the way it is. Maybe a Volquartsen action kit: https://volquartsen.com/products/168-hp-action-kit

CZ 457 Varmint, or Trick Out my 10/22

I would say comparing a 10/22 to a CZ457 is like comparing a Chevy (or maybe a Jeep) to a Porsche. Not in the same league.

Thinking about building a PCC, AR in .45 ACP

+1 for the Hiperfire PDI trigger.

Thinking about building a PCC, AR in .45 ACP

The Macon option would also be a good one using a standard AR lower. Kind of what I did except now with a different mag format. My Macon adapter has been running well with the RDB. Lot's of choices out there OP. https://maconarmory.com/product-category/ar-45/

Thinking about building a PCC, AR in .45 ACP

OP I don't know if you are going pistol or rifle. Here is a great price on a 8" and 16" barrel/bolt combo...

Thinking about building a PCC, AR in .45 ACP

I used a Macon armory block and it accepts HK USC mags but they don't make it any more. Too bad because it runs well. I think OP is better off with a dedicate RDB lower that takes Glock mags.

Thinking about building a PCC, AR in .45 ACP

Hi. I built two 45 ACP PCC's. One standard blowback, the other radial delayed blowback. The radial delayed probably twice the money but a really nice shooter and reliable and does not require any tuning. If you want to build a Banshee clone, get your CMMG lower, barrel and bolt from...

      Bumble Bees and the AGC

I think shooting off the bench makes recoil feel worse. Better to shoot prone in that case.

      Use Pinned Gas Blocks Exclusively?

Most of my AR's have MILSPEC front sight towers that are taper pinned, or are PCCs that are n/a. I really only have three AR's that use the set-screws and one additional that is already pinned.

      Use Pinned Gas Blocks Exclusively?

I am intrigued by how many of you use clamp-on gas blocks.

      Use Pinned Gas Blocks Exclusively?

In retrospect - I could have bought a barrel that already had a pinned low pro gas block. https://faxonfirearms.com/faxon-10-5-pencil-5-56-nato-carbine-length-4150-nitride-w-pinned-gas-block-ar-15-barrel/

      Use Pinned Gas Blocks Exclusively?

Yeah - pinned. Either pinning the existing gas block that already has the set screws in place or getting a gas block designed to be pinned.

      Use Pinned Gas Blocks Exclusively?

I am getting tired of set-screw gas blocks. I went to change the dust cover on one of my AR's. Took off the free-float hand guard. Barrel nut was still in the way so I removed it, but, I had to remove the gas tube. I go to drive out the pin holding the gas tube, but the set-screw gas block...

Desantis Slim Tuk - I like it

Just got this Desantis Slim Tuk and put my LCP II IWB in the small of my back. Totally forgot I was wearing it. Very comfortable. Took about two minutes to adjust the tension.

      Recommend a Revolver Speedloader for a S&W 64

Last speedloader I bought 30+ years ago was an HKS. Is that still the one to get? Model 10-A for a S&W 64.

      NFA Trusts...

The short answer (IHMO) is maybe. That's a good question to ask an attorney, especially if you are putting all of your assets (house, cars, etc.) in a Trust.
