      Hbar requirement.

      Can you get around the Hbar requirement here in MD on an 5.56 AR build, if you buy an 18 inch barrel instead of 16 inch?

      I want to get an AR

      So I’m thinking that it would be nice to have an AR 15 type rifle. I know the various HBAR’s rifles are ok in .MD, but my friend just purchased a S&W MP 15 Sport in 5.56. This was bought in Md. It was not stamped HBAR. Is this rifle legal?

      Regulated AR or not

      Regulated AR or not? Friend and his son bought three AR’s . The one with the scope is 308 caliber and the other two are 223. He tells me that only one is regulated.       NRA Membership

      NRA Membership is due now and for the first time in years I am seriously thinking about cancelling due to the cost ($35) Does anybody know how much of the dues goes into “protecting our rights” and how much is being spent elsewhere in the organization? Thanks

      New 10/22

      10/22 question Bought a SS Ruger 10/22 this summer to have fun with, and pass on to the grand kids at some point. Was some what surprised, after firing all the rounds in the clip, that the bolt did not stay open after the last round. Is there an aftermarket fix for this? Thanks
