Just to clarify, you're saying, if the barrel states it's .625 at the gas block location, then I need to make sure I use the .625 gas block? Or is there more to it?
I don't want to run a FSB so the 2nd option is more ideal. Is it difficult to pin a gas block to barrel? Just not sure why I wouldn't buy a barrel and gas block and do it myself for cheaper. Although that barrel is DD and CHF, so it's probably worth the extra coin.
I would but I have a upper and lower that are cerakoted OD green, so I want to use the upper I have, otherwise I will be buying an assembly for another build.
For the lower build, I used the youtube video. It's essentially just isntalling the peices using pins.

I used basic set of punches and a two sided soft hammer. I used painters tape to cover the lower while installing pins to avoid marring the finish...
I've assembled my first AR lower (Aero lower w/ CMMG parts kit). Easy stuff, great learning experience getting to know the parts and how they work together etc.
