I bought these from the CMP back in the late 90's when I had "Garanditis" now cleaning out all my surplus
Two complete trigger groups. One Winchester One SA
Your choice. $80 shipped TYD
And lets nor forget the most important and valuable barter item in a SHTF scenario.. More valuable than gold, more valuable than silver, more valuable than diamonds......
TOILET PAPER!
"THEY AIN'T PRINTING THE SEARS CATALOG OR YELLOW PAGES ANYMORE!"
We have preserved eggs using a process called Water Glassing. we haven't kept them for more than 8 months but I'm told they can last up to a year and a half. It works best if you use pickling lime and distilled water but well water with no chemicals is just fine. No city water!
the eggs need to...
in the late 70's we got a hold of a few cases of C rations dated 1943.. we kept it at out hunting camp
everything was good, nobody got sick. the peanut butter separated and had to be stirred real good, but it tasted fine.
Ok so lets say the SHTF and your trying to buy a case of tomato soup but all you have is a 1 oz gold eagle. How do you make change??
When the SHTF, small denominations will be far more useful and trade more easily that a full 1 oz coin or bar. The same with silver. you will likely be able to...
I have a couple cans of 06 ammo in the brown box dated 1966 in ammo cans. That's 57 years old and no sign of corrosion.
Leave your stuff in the box. It will out last you!
Nosler blems for as little as 14 bucks/100 been buying from them for years and even used their blems (30 & 375) on an African hunt.. no issues with accuracy or performance. the blems are purely cosmetic. (like a tiny black spot)...
I've had as many as 11 Garands once upon a time, and any of the published target loads using 4895 and a 150 or 168 gr bullet is more than enough for any deer on this continent and then some. Just use a game bullet and not a match bullet. the jackets are too thin.
MEDIA EXAGGERATION TO SUPPORT THE LEFT'S POLITICAL ANTI-GUN NARRATIVE..
half a million rounds at 20/box would be 25,000 boxes stolen.. at 50/box it would be 10,000 boxes stolen.. That would be a couple pallets of ammo! I fail to see how that could go unnoticed.
We do this. Eggs with poo should not be used. just clean unwashed eggs.
Important to examine each egg carefully and make sure there are no cracks. not even a hairline crack. One cracked egg in your container will ruin the entire batch.
We have kept and used them up to about a year.
We preserve eggs using the hydrated lime method.
Very important, you MUST use unwashed eggs, and pickling lime.
You need to inspect the eggs carefully and make sure there are no cracks. even a fine hairline crack is bad and one cracked egg in your batch will ruin he whole batch.
We have kept...
I don't go to that show anymore. We call it the P.T.Barnum show because they really cater to the suckers..
There are a lot of tables, but if you removed the pickle guy, the jerky guys, the dozen or so T-shirt guys, the sock guys, the jewelry broad, and the cheap (but not inexpensive) knife...

I quite agree, Leupold has outstanding aftermarket customer service. I had an issue with a 1.5x5 Leupold that would not hold zero on my 375 H&H, I sent it back and they replaced the erector and had it back to me all within 2 weeks..
good scope vs cheap scope example... I went bear hunting in Maine a few years ago.. brought 2 rifles. Both had 3x9x40 scopes.. One was a Leupold the other a Zeiss.
Performance was equal up until the last 8-10 minutes of usable light. With the Leupold i could only see shadows while the Zeiss was...
