      Selling an AR 15 bought prior to 2013

      I know a stripped lower needs a 77R but does a "complete lower" still need a 77R? And if a complete lower is not a "regulated firearm", the only reason you need to go to an FFL is to transfer a "long gun" (Due to that bull shitaki law about private sales that passed this year).

      I didnt see anything in the previous pages, but if you do not have Collectors designation, you have to wait 30 days. Got it. But i purchased a firearm on the same day the dealer submitted the 77R. But when reading the last page in the 77R application it says you could not sell, buy, transfer...

      His hours vary. If you email him, he will add you to the email list which he states his hours and new arrivals. Small shop but he gets a decent amount of handguns and rifles in, including some lowers. Edit: sorry, some of that info was already provided.

      As long as fits you, i like the original wood stock. Maybe im just so use to it and its more comfortable in that way. Not a pretty stock though.

      While the topic of 77Rs are being discussed, how do you know if a particular firearm was purchased with a 77R or not? I know of a particular AR that a acquaintance has and he doesnt know if he did a 77R before the 2013 FSA or if it was a "compliant" firearm.
