If you have your NRA basic Instructor certification file and apply to become a qhic. That way you dont have to take any renewal classes nor do you have to take the class. Your exempt.
I know that… I’m an instructor… but if you had 6 months. It would be spread out over a little more time, and it would give them more time to process.
however, you still always have those that do last minute
Not by much though… considering the number of applicants will still be high for a while. Until instructors can get the vast majority trained. Then you have the renewal classes. Thankfully as an instructor I don’t have to take the classes or renewal that makes it easy for me.
They would be wise to do like other states and let you apply for renewal 6 months in advance, and they just Have to approve or deny before your current one expires
For those who don’t post here in the forums. It gives us an idea of how many are being approved.
if someone an hour after your approval Time posts a permit number of 22HGP – 0610xx then that would tell us that they approved about 200 to 300 permits in that hour or day whichever the case may be.
Still no joy for me. I submitted 8/2, accepted 8/2 and nics 8/3
My personal opinion is this…
They do in fact go by accepted date…. but for Each das “stack” of applications to process… that stack is then in order of the order of dad submitted.
Meaning… if you submitted 7/27 you Will get...
