That looks absolutely amazing. How many hours did it take to complete this work of art? I could spend a lifetime and still never come close to that level of skill.
I have a 10/22 which has stripped threads in one of the scope base mounting holes. I had see-through bases mounted directly to the receiver, and the second hole back from the front is the one that stripped out. Back in my younger days, I felt the definition of proper torque was "tight's tight...
I forgot to come back to this thread to mention it, but thanks to you, NickZac, I bought a Matriarch 2 with the Emerson opening device at the big Oaks show a few weeks ago. It's a pretty nasty looking blade, and I'm sure it would do far more damage than most blades. Thanks for the great review...
But it's legal for a MD resident to purchase them. It's also perfectly legal to bring them back into the state, so long as you did not take delivery of them within the state. It's funny how the spirit of the law concept is a one-way street with these crooks.
Once you establish residency, let us know where to send the sympathy cards. If I were in another state and was ready to relocate, MD would be at the bottom of my list, along with CA, NJ, NY and most other North-Eastern States. If there is any way you can avoid it, don't move to MD.
Slater and Sutton are both listed as Republican, and appear to be running on similar platforms. Sutton switched parties to the D side eight years ago to run against Janney, but has now switched back to his original (R) party affiliation since Janney is retiring.
Diesel-man, can you explain why...
In light of all that has been happening since the beginning of the reign of Barack al Hawai'i concerning government overreach, and the degree to which the citizens are now willing to push back, there is a quote/paragraph which I am trying to find. I should know this, but I just cannot seem to...
I agree with you about not piling on when there are problems with a product that is new to the market, but this is not something that has just become an issue. I see this more as a major QC issue coming to a head.
I have a lot of respect for Remington, and I love their older firearms that...
I forgot one. An 1187 that's been back to the factory 3 times and it still won't cycle. The most recent stoppage was while he was out duck hunting. This time, it jammed up so bad he couldn't shoot at all. It now sits in the back of his safe because he's tired of sending it back, and he doesn't...
It seems to me that Remington's quality has been on a downhill slide over the last several years. I have first-hand knowledge of several newer Remington firearms with major issues, which I had never seen in their products from several years back.
A 700 with an issue with the safety. Two 870's...
You can't be serious. That sounds like something I would expect to hear coming from an anti-gun loyalist. That's no way to settle an agreement, everybody knows that's what fists are for.
I just can't understand why they can't let trained soldiers carry firearms on a base. The other side always whines that only Police and Military should have firearms. Well then let them carry!
I do know that I suck less with a 180 grain in a Glock 22 than I do with a 165. Do most Glock 40 S&W's like a 180 grain, or did I just happen to try a few that all liked a 180 over a 165?
I suck with a Glock. They're a quality product, I just can't hit the broad side of a barn with one. From the inside. I have shot several of them with the same result. I once had a Glock 22 that I could only get about an 8 inch group at 15 yards. With a 1911 or a revolver, I can get a 2 inch...
An ineffective ban based on lies. I know the progressives are quite stupid, but this close to an election, I don't see why she would try something like this.
I agree completely. This is why the war on drugs doesn't work. Legalize the drugs, and when the people who use them inappropriately do bad things as a result, charge them accordingly, and make the sentence a heavy one. This way, the real troublemakers STILL end up in jail for a very long time...
