      Correct. The entire trigger housing mechanism has been changed. The addition of a sear to keep the firing pin in the fully retracted position is only one aspect.

      Glock Performance Trigger essentially converts the Glock from a striker fire to a 1911 sear fire! The firing pin is always locked back until you rest the trigger bar through the connector <very crisp> eats LE warranted standards!

      Looking forward to participating in this Community. I am an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and a Certified Glock Advanced Armorer. Right now I am working with the new Glock Performance Trigger, which seems to be a very positive EDC addition to the Gen 5 line. Seems to also work just fine...
