      My son inherited my Dad's .300 Model 99 Savage rifle. I was not allowed to shoot it when I was a kid and don't much about it. I am looking for ammo for it. What's the difference between .300 Savage ammo and .300 Win Mag ammo? Can I use either in a .300 Savage (Model 99)?

      Found a dead buck

      Yesterday, my son and his grandfather happened upon a dead buck in the stone row of a field. Neither were hunting, but metal detecting with permission from the property owner. It looks like it was shot but ran? What are the Maryland laws about taking the rack, but leaving the dead deer?
